C came home from school today and said, "Hey, Mom! Happy Tax Day!"
And I said, "Hey, C! Happy day Dr. G cut out part of your lung!"
Then we both laughed.

The boys came through for you today, too.
Yesterday (the 15th) was the surgery. He'd already been in the hospital on a vent for almost a week.
But it was after the surgery that things really turned around, and he started improving rapidly.
