Feelin' Sassy
This evening on the phone, I admitted to my mother that I am, in fact a Democrat:
Mom: I've been down at Republican headquarters volunteering in advance of the state convention. Doing everything I can to get McCain elected.
Me: And I'm doing everything I can to cancel out your vote.
Mom: (silence)
Mom: Oh dear.
That only took 22 years.

You and I both are doing everything we can to cancel out her vote. At this point, I think if a three-legged purple half-human, half-giraffe were the Democratic nominee, I'd vote for it.

My mom and dad have been becoming more and more liberal as they get older, and they find themselves feeling a bit isolated in rural Texas. LOL My dad gets a bit fiesty and enjoys driving around with anti-Republican bumper stickers on. I worry about his safety a little...
